My research interests lie in the intersection of language acquisition, processing, and proficiency, with a specific focus on Vietnamese heritage speakers. I have conducted research on how classifiers facilitate predictive processing among heritage speakers of Vietnamese and have presented on this topic at various conferences. Additionally, I have researched how language proficiency affects listeners’ attention to a talker’s mouth, as well as developed and validated a web-based test to measure Vietnamese heritage learners’ listening proficiency.
